About the Role:

As the Response Counselling Manager, you will provide clinical supervision, ensure the delivery of high-quality mental health services, and support the professional development of your team. You will play a key role in the strategic growth and enhancement of our services, ensuring we continue to meet the needs of the young people we serve. You will oversee the coordination of counselling and drop-in services, ensuring seamless support for young people accessing our services.

This role contributes to the strategic planning and development of the Response Counselling and Drop-In services, identifying opportunities for growth and improvement. You will also be responsible for ensuring compliance with all legal and regulatory standards, maintaining a safe and confidential environment for safeguarding young people.

About the Candidate:

You will hold a relevant qualification in counselling at level 5 or above with proven experience in managing mental health services, preferably with a focus on youth counselling or similar settings. The successful candidate will be a strategic thinker with strong leadership and team management skills, capable of motivating and supporting a diverse team.

You should have extensive experience in providing clinical supervision and working with moderate to severe mental health cases. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential, with the ability to engage effectively with young people, staff, and external stakeholders.
