Basic Function: The Product Manager (PM), under the direction of the Senior Product Manager, will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining the company’s product line HMP (Harness Management and Protection Products). This position works closely with members of the sales and marketing departments, quality and operations to ensure continuity in product offering and company goals. The Product Manager is also responsible for adhering to and promoting the company values by performing duties in a manner that is consistent with being a team leader and supports the continued growth of the company.
Responsibilities
- In coordination with the Product Management team, direct and perform all aspects of product management including product development, product changes, product promotions, development procedures, specifying components, packaging design, product positioning, pricing, catalog and sell sheet copy, training aides and point of purchase merchandise.
- Manage and communicate sales information and product changes both internally and externally, balancing priorities of a diverse range of stakeholders in a positive manner.
- Ownership of product segment revenue, margin, program budgets, sales performance, development of pricing strategy, and produce, maintain stock recommendations and analysis as well as assisting in updating annual forecast.
- Regularly perform pricing and competitive analysis by customer channel and recommend strategies to improve market position, improve quality, reduce cost or target product portfolio expansion.
- Develop and maintain strategic partnerships with customers and suppliers supporting complex business cases and product roadmaps.
- Introduce new products to market (NPI) by analyzing proposed product requirements and product development programmes.
- Preparing ROI (Return on Investment) analysis and preparing project timelines.
- Produce, maintain and update annual forecast.
- Develop and maintain product database with product specifications, artwork and catalog copy for dealer co-op advertising and catalogs programs.
- Establish and maintain relationships with vendors to help facilitate the timely completion of projects.

Requirements
- Min 2 years of experience in a similar product management role.
- Technical capability – ideally with knowledge of WireMasters Products and Markets.
- Strong Internal and External Stakeholder Management.
- Able to demonstrate excellent analytical skills and problem solving capabilities.
- Advanced Excel user.
- Project Management experience and qualifications would be an advantage.
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment with excellent time management.
- Frequent travel - up to 50%.
- Strong Oral, Written and Presentation Communication skills.
