We are seeking a Principal Product Manager to lead our new Data Platform squad. This strategic individual contributor role focuses on building and evolving a modern, scalable data platform that enables data‑informed decisions, product innovation, and operational intelligence across our business and customer ecosystem. You will report to the Head of Product and collaborate closely with engineers, data scientists, architects, and business stakeholders to ensure the platform meets both internal and external needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and lead the vision, strategy, and roadmap for the data platform, focusing on high‑impact and scalable outcomes.
  • Drive the creation of a modern data lakehouse architecture and establish a data mesh model for decentralized data ownership.
  • Deliver real‑time streaming capabilities that support near‑instant analytics and next‑generation IoT use cases.
  • Partner with data consumers across the business to prioritize data needs and ensure data accessibility, quality, and usability.
  • Own and evolve key platform capabilities such as secure data storage, data governance, BI tooling, and ML‑ready data pipelines.

Key Experience & Skills

  • Proven experience as a Senior/Lead Product Manager or Principal Product Manager working on data platforms, analytics infrastructure, or developer‑facing data tooling.
  • Deep understanding of data lakehouse architecture, data mesh models, and real‑time streaming technologies.
  • Technical fluency in Databricks, Delta Lake, Apache Spark, and Kafka.
  • Strong product discovery and outcome‑thinking skills, balancing long‑term investments with short‑term delivery.
  • Experience working in an empowered product team and collaborating with data scientists, data engineers, and analytics teams to create business value.
