Role Overview
We are seeking a highly capable and commercially astute Regional Financial Controller to join our growing Group Finance team. This high‑visibility role covers one of our key regions – UK, Europe or Rest of the World – acting as the critical link between local finance teams and the Group Finance function.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the monthly financial close process for your assigned region, ensuring timely and accurate reporting from local entities.
- Analyze and explain variances against budget, prior periods and forecasts, focusing on revenue movements and key cost drivers.
- Support Group‑level reporting by providing internal and external reports for investors and the board.
- Provide holiday and absence cover for other Regional Financial Controllers, ensuring continuity across regions.
- Drive continuous improvement in reporting quality and efficiency, and support integration of new acquisitions in your region.
Key Experience & Skills
- Qualified accountant (ACA or ACCA) with post‑qualification experience in a Financial Controller or Group Finance role.
- Previous work within a multi‑entity, multinational organization.
- Proven exposure to group consolidation processes and IFRS reporting standards.
- Excellent analytical skills and business acumen, with the ability to interpret and explain financial results clearly.
- Bonus: Advanced Excel skills and experience with consolidation/reporting tools.
