We are looking for a Group Head of Procurement to join us at Wireless Logic!

Role Overview

We have an opportunity for an experienced Procurement Leader to create a centralized procurement function at a high growth technology IoT connectivity provider. Primarily focused on realising value creation across the Group the role will include:

Engaging and Impactful Projects

This role will need to prioritise areas to review and build a contract management database to identify cost saving opportunities and working with critical suppliers to improve service. Projects ranging between insurance, property, central services, IT service contracts and all Mobile network partners, amongst others with a wide-ranging remit of total overhead spend across the Group.

Working with senior leadership

Centralising spend across multiple countries is a key opportunity for improving contract management and realizing savings. In order to achieve that this role will need to work closely with countries managers across the world as well as the functional executive team who are largely UK based.

Flexibility

The role will work closely with multiple stakeholders and can therefore be flexible with location. It is expected the role will be in the office to interact with the UK based leadership team as required.

• Lead and manage sourcing, procurement control for the business such that it achieves its financial and business objectives
• Create procurement management tools and data analysis as required to complete the role
• Identify new suppliers, negotiate supply agreements and secure improvements in price, discounts, rebates, payment terms and supply service levels.
• Leads and contributes to cross functional process improvement and change projects across Group
• Compile, maintain and control purchase and supplier records as well as all pertaining agreements and contracts in accordance with company and legal requirements
• Foster and maintain close working relationships with internal Group stakeholders and colleagues, suppliers and service providers
• Perform regular supplier visits; both in the UK and abroad as required

The Secret Sauce (Key Experience & Skills):

• An extensive previous experience in a Purchasing/Procurement management role
• Proven track record of improving supplier and service provider performance
• Methodical, data driven, detail-oriented and highly organised
• Commercially aware with strong analytical skills and a problem-solving attitude
• Comfort in making key decisions in a fast paced and fluid business environment
• Able to seamlessly transition from the day to day hands-on and tactical to the strategic
