Role Overview: We’re looking for a Product Manager to lead our data platform squad at Wireless Logic. This is a strategic individual contributor role with broad scope and influence across the business, focused on building and evolving a modern, scalable data platform. You’ll define and deliver the vision for our modern data platform, including a lakehouse architecture, real-time data streaming, and a decentralised data mesh model. You’ll be responsible for creating the foundations that power data-driven decision-making across our business and enable our customers to harness the full potential of IoT.

As Principal Product Manager, you will report to the Head of Product and work closely with engineering, data science, architecture, product, and business stakeholders. You’ll ensure our platform meets the needs of both internal and external consumers, enabling data-informed decisions, product innovation, and operational intelligence across our business and customer ecosystem.

  • Define and lead the vision, strategy, and roadmap for Wireless Logic’s data platform, focusing on high-impact, scalable outcomes.
  • Drive the creation of a data lakehouse architecture that combines the flexibility of a data lake with the performance and structure of a warehouse.
  • Establish a data mesh operating model, enabling domain teams to treat data as a product and drive decentralised data ownership.
  • Deliver real-time streaming capabilities that support near-instant analytics and integration with IoT data flows.
  • Own and evolve platform capabilities such as secure data storage, data governance and lineage, BI tooling, search and indexing, and ML-ready data pipelines.
  • Partner with data consumers across the business to prioritise data needs and ensure data accessibility, quality, and usability.
  • Define and track platform KPIs including data integrity, access latency, search performance, streaming throughput, and compliance adherence.

The Secret Sauce (Key Experience & Skills):

  • Proven experience as a Product Manager or Principal Product Manager working on data platforms, analytics infrastructure, or developer-facing data tooling.
  • Deep understanding of data lakehouse architecture, data mesh models, and real-time streaming technologies.
  • Demonstrated success in launching and scaling internal or external data platforms used across multiple teams or functions.
  • Technical fluency in data technologies such as Data Bricks, Delta Lake, Apache Spark, Kafka, SQL engines, distributed storage, cloud-native data pipelines, and ML data workflows.
  • Experience collaborating with data scientists, data engineers, and analytics teams to turn data capabilities into business value.
  • Strong product discovery and outcome thinking skills, with the ability to balance long-term platform investments with short-term delivery.

What Will Make You Shine At Wireless Logic (Behaviours & Culture):

  • We’re all about people who bring their A-game for the team.
  • Motivation and passion that lights up the room.
  • The ability to stay calm and collected under pressure.
  • Develop, inspire and engage others around you, supporting principles of inclusion and equity.
  • Actively participate in and promote our social initiatives.
  • Be a brand ambassador for our business!
  • Demonstrate interest in continuous self-development.
  • A positive, can-do attitude that’s infectious.
  • A collaborative or leadership style that gets the best out of others.
  • Accountability and professionalism (but don’t worry—we’re not all suits and ties).
  • Resilience to roll with the punches and come back swinging.

Your Objectives for the Year:

  • Launch and iterate on a foundational data lakehouse architecture that demonstrates measurable improvements in data accessibility and processing efficiency for key internal stakeholders by Q1 2026.
  • Successfully implement the initial phase of a data mesh model for at least two core business domains, enabling decentralised data ownership and demonstrable data product adoption by Q2 2026.
  • Deliver core real-time data streaming capabilities that support at least one critical IoT use case, achieving target latency and throughput metrics by Q3 2026.
