Do you enjoy helping people grow in confidence, strengthen their skills and achieve more? Are you an experienced Sales Trainer or Sales Coach, or a successful sales professional who has discovered that developing others is the part of the job you enjoy most? We are looking for a Sales Trainer to join Wireless CCTV, based at our Rochdale HQ. This is a newly created role with the opportunity to make a real impact.

You won't simply deliver training courses. You will work alongside our sales teams, understand the challenges they face, coach them in real situations and help build the skills and behaviours that drive stronger sales performance. You will support colleagues at different stages of their careers, from helping new Business Development Executives build strong foundations to developing experienced Account Managers and supporting talented BDEs on their progression towards Regional Account Manager roles. You will also work closely with our Sales Managers, helping them become stronger coaches and creating a culture where development happens every day, not just in the training room.

About us: Wireless CCTV (WCCTV) was founded in 2001, and we are established as the market leader for rapidly deployable mobile surveillance systems. We strive to maintain this by ensuring our core values of Quality, Innovation and Customer First are the focus of everything we do. Our success is built on putting customers first, delivering quality and continuing to innovate. Our people are central to that success and we are committed to giving colleagues the skills, support and opportunities they need to develop and grow with us.

What you'll be doing:

  • Design, coordinate and deliver an engaging, structured sales onboarding programme for new Business Development Executives and Account Managers.
  • Help new starters understand our business, customers, products, services, sales process and expected sales behaviours.
  • Deliver practical development across prospecting, questioning, customer needs analysis, objection handling, solution positioning, negotiation and closing.
  • Create engaging workshops, learning materials, exercises, role plays, coaching sessions and assessments that translate learning into practical sales behaviours.
  • Develop and support a structured pathway from Business Development Executive to Regional Account Manager, helping colleagues understand what they need to demonstrate to progress.
  • Partner with Sales Managers to identify individual and team development needs and agree targeted development plans.
  • Equip managers to reinforce learning through effective coaching and ongoing development conversations.
  • Use observation, feedback, CRM insights and performance information to identify capability gaps and determine where training can add the most value.
  • Evaluate training effectiveness and continually improve our programmes.
  • Share sales best practice across teams and regions and help create a culture of continuous learning and feedback.

What we are looking for:

  • Strong knowledge of the end-to-end B2B sales cycle, from prospecting and discovery through to negotiation and closing.
  • Experience coaching, mentoring or developing salespeople.
  • The confidence to challenge, encourage and motivate people at different stages of their careers.
  • The ability to deliver engaging workshops and facilitate learning with groups and individuals.
  • A practical coaching style that turns theory into behaviours salespeople can use with customers.
  • Credibility with sales professionals, Sales Managers and senior stakeholders.
  • The ability to give clear, constructive and motivating feedback.
  • Strong organisation and planning skills with the ability to manage multiple development priorities.
  • A commercial mindset and an understanding that effective sales development should ultimately contribute to better customer outcomes and improved sales performance.
  • Confidence using Microsoft 365, CRM information, presentation software and digital learning tools.
  • The willingness to travel regularly and spend time alongside our regional sales teams.

It would be helpful if you also have:

  • Experience in a B2B consultative, solution-led, rental or service-based sales environment.
  • Experience coaching salespeople in the field or around live customer activity.
  • Designed or delivered sales onboarding, a Sales Academy or structured development programme.
  • Developed sales competency frameworks or career progression pathways.
  • Used CRM and sales performance data to identify development priorities or measure learning impact.
  • A recognised training, coaching or L&D qualification such as CIPD, CMI or ILM.

You do not need to tick every box. If the opportunity excites you and you believe your experience and approach could make you successful, we encourage you to apply.

What you will receive:

  • £45,000 - £50,000 basic salary, depending on experience.
  • £5,000 company performance bonus.
  • 25 days annual leave, plus bank holidays. Entitlement increases with length of service.
  • Access to private health care and dental schemes, alongside an Employee Assistance Programme.
  • Workplace salary sacrifice pension, contributions increase with length of service.
  • Ongoing progression and personal development in a role with the opportunity to shape sales capability across the UK business.
  • The opportunity to work closely with sales leaders and make a measurable contribution to commercial performance and career development.
