We are looking for a Stock Controller to join our team in Rochdale. You will be assisting the Stock Team Leader in ensuring our stores are maintained efficiently and accurately, ensuring kit is provided for Production, Field Engineering Teams and Suppliers.

  • Obtain physical receipts of stock
  • Book in stock to our Access Dimensions system and physically add stock to the correct place in the warehouse
  • Book out stock as required
  • Understand the stock holding process on a weekly basis, covering the key stock items
  • Assist with regular stock counts to ensure accuracy between the ledgers and the stock in stores
  • Assist in kitting for each order, ready for the production team to build as per the pre‑agreed production schedule
  • Manage the stock of faulty equipment with the supplier base to ensure efficient turnaround of repaired and replacement stock
  • Report any issues of supplier returns to the Stocks & Stores team leader
  • Support the warehouse with general \"clean as you go\" and general appearance of the Engineering hubs
  • Manage stores to ensure stock is easily identifiable and accessible
  • Ensure all procedures are adhered to as stipulated in the WCCTV Quality Procedures and Quality Policy in accordance with the ISO 9001:2015 Standard

Your Experience:

  • Familiar with the receipt of physical stock
  • Experience working within a warehouse environment
  • Inventory control experience, familiar with regular stock counts
  • Experience working with hazardous substances is desirable, but not essential
  • Experience driving forklifts is desirable, not essential
  • Experience in a physically demanding role, including heavy lifting
  • Strong demonstrable awareness of health and safety
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Strong work ethic
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team
