Wireless CCTV Installations team is growing! We are looking to expand our Field Engineering team and have a vacancy for a Trainee Installation Engineer based out of our Birmingham Office. Role Overview: A Trainee Installation Engineer is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of CCTV systems. This role requires technical expertise in security systems and a strong understanding of various CCTV products and their operation. You will be required to drive to sites located within an approximate 2-hour radius from our Birmingham Office.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install CCTV systems at client sites, ensuring proper setup and configuration
- Commission new systems and ensure they are fully operational
- Perform regular maintenance checks and repairs on CCTV equipment to ensure maximum functionality
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to CCTV systems
- Provide technical support and training to clients on the use of CCTV equipment
- Keep detailed logs of service calls, maintenance tasks, and repairs
- Ensure installations comply with relevant codes of practice and safety standards
- Maintain a safe work environment and adhere to health and safety procedures
- Liaise with clients in a professional and approachable manner

Your Qualifications, Experience and Skills:
- Have a passion for technology and engineering
- Committed to covering an approximate 2-hour radius of Birmingham
- NVQ Level 3 in Security Systems is desirable
- Full Clean UK Driving Licence required
- Employment subject to successful security screening and enhanced disclosure check
