We’re offering a 12-month placement for a motivated Functional Test Analyst to join our team at WCCTV’s Rochdale HQ. Student Placement – Functional Test Analyst We have a 12-month placement opportunity available for a motivated and enthusiastic Functional Test Analyst to join us based at our Rochdale HQ on a full-time basis. The successful candidate can expect to receive comprehensive training, coaching and support. WCCTV was founded in 2001, in the UK and is the market leader for rapid deployment, mobile surveillance systems specifically designed to deliver video securely and efficiently via 4G LTE networks. In 2021, the Private Equity Firm LDC , made a substantial investment into WCCTV. This investment will allow us to rapidly scale and grow in the UK and continue our services as a market leader. The Company\’s wide range of video surveillance solutions includes: Rapid deployment tower cameras The Purpose of the Role: Ensure the software works as we expect it to Help define what the software should do by asking questions not obvious to the rest of the team Speed up development by helping to clearly identify development requirements and by testing tickets during development against those requirements Prevent regression of the software. Main Responsibilities Designing and executing tests from a functional specification Write, maintain and review test documentation. Keep track of the issues with the development manager and re-run tests when they have been fixed Validating, reproducing and document reported bugs Develop Unit Testing for existing products The Candidate: Experience of C# and web programming Proficient in all Microsoft office packages, i.e., word, excel Organisational Skills Good written and verbal skills Ability to adapt to change Energetic and enthusiastic with the ability to communicate at all levels.
