We are looking for an experienced, commercially minded, product and technology focusedProduct Manager, to support our growing solution partner channel. You will be accountable for detailed product planning, delivery and marketing throughout the product lifecycle in line with our vision and business strategy. In this role, you will develop a vision and roadmap for the product based on input from internal stakeholders, customers, market research and your own industry insight. Additionally, you will work closely with the Development/Engineering teams to deliver products that align with our vision, meet market needs and are of a consistently high-quality standard. What You Will Be Doing Work with the Product Management team to define the product strategy and roadmap Collect, manage and maintain traceability of requirements from all stakeholders across product releases Write Product Propositions and Product Brief documents Where required, write the business case for investments Support Senior Product Management in ROI and Prioritisation discussions Be the recognised expert in the business on your product, the market, relevant technology and the competition Promote the product internally through update briefings, bulletins and other mechanisms Develop core positioning and messaging for the product Work with Product Marketing to ensure release information is available in a timely manner for release documentation creation Monitor and report on product performance Run alpha and beta testing (Third Party Validation) programs with trusted early adopter customers Carry out regular market and competitor research related to your Products Support the promotion of the product to sales teams through sales & presales training sessions, update briefings, bulletins and other mechanisms What We Are Looking For Demonstrable experience as a Senior Product Owner or Product Manager, in a software development environment, or experience as a logistics industry professional looking for a new career change Experience managing the product lifecycle from ideation, design, productisation and end of life Knowledge of the transport and logistics industries Have a passion for creating successful software products and services, with a clear focus on the user experience Ability to get to the heart of a problem and be clear about the problem to be solved and why Have good communication and influencing skills at all levels of an organisation Stakeholder management with the capability to manage expectations Requirement elicitation and analysis Knowledge of agile/scrum development methodologies Why Microlise?
