Partner and Alliances Director
Salary – From £70,000, dependent on experience
Location – Home Based with flexibility to travel across the UK as and when the business requires (including internationally approx. once per quarter)
We are looking for an experienced Partner and Alliances Director to join our Microlise family! In this role, you will lead and develop partnerships with major worldwide transport and logistics OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) and other technology providers. Reporting into our Head of OEM & Emerging Markets, you will be responsible for building and maintaining mutually beneficial partnerships with organisations, primarily around data acquisition. Additionally, you will be involved with helping our internal business to evolve our partnership strategy, through implementing additional opportunity and margin into Microlise though data as a service offerings.

What you will be doing / Responsibilities
- Source new partners (Cold-calling/LinkedIn outreach, Response to organic inquiries, RFP/RFI responses, following up on customer-led introductions)
- Onboard new partners, coordinate all go to market activities, and manage the ongoing performance of existing partners
- Develop strong relationships with partners to ensure alignment of goals and objectives and drive mutual growth
- Work cross-functionally with product management, engineering, sales, and marketing teams to develop joint solution offerings and go-to-market plans with partners
- Lead partner solution overviews for Go To Market (GTM) Teams to support new and existing customer opportunities.
- Develop and manage co-marketing campaigns with partners
- Accurate and timely forecasting of opportunities to support business planning.
What we are looking for / Requirements
- Experience within business development and building successful partnership relationships that drive real results
- A strong understanding of the European transport and logistics sector and the associated market participants
- A strong understanding of transport technology and associated SaaS solutions.
- Ability to work autonomously and delivery focussed – you are driven and work across a wide range of teams, both internal and external
- Aptitude for understanding how technology products and solutions solve business problems.
- Entrepreneurial mindset – you can value and pursue highest-value opportunities with a clear bias for informed action and track record of establishing new businesses
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present ideas and solutions effectively.
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to secure profitable contracts and agreements in alignment with the overall business strategy.
- To fulfil the duties of this role, strong competency in Microsoft Office and CRM (Customer Relationship Management) software.
- Flexibility to travel across the UK as and when the business requires (including internationally approx. once per quarter), and a full UK driving license.
