Administrator / Stock Manager £27,000–£32,000 | Weston-super-Mare | 06:30–15:00 | Permanent
Wired Weston is looking for an organised, proactive Administrator / Stock Manager to join our team.
This is a varied, hands-on role . You'll start your day managing stock, materials and equipment for our engineers , before moving into the office to support the team with general administration, jobs, tenants and clients.
Experience within social housing, SOR codes or the electrical/trades sector is highly desirable.
What you'll be doing Managing stock, inventory and materials required for engineers and jobs
Preparing and organising materials for engineers each morning
Monitoring stock levels and helping ensure the correct materials are available
Working with SORs / Schedule of Rates
Contacting tenants to arrange appointments and provide updates
Speaking with clients and engineers regarding live jobs and queries
Chasing outstanding information and helping keep jobs moving
Checking completed jobs to ensure notes, certificates and records are complete
Supporting the wider team with day-to-day administration
Keeping information accurate, complete and up to date
What we're looking for You'll ideally have:
Previous social housing, repairs or maintenance experience
Experience with SOR codes and/or good general trade knowledge
Experience managing stock, materials or inventory
Strong administration and IT skills
An excellent telephone manner
Confidence speaking with tenants, clients and engineers
Good attention to detail and strong organisational skills
The ability to prioritise a busy workload
