As the business continues to grow, were looking for an experienced Qualified Electrician who is confident working independently, taking responsibility for their own jobs and supporting an apprentice when required. We want someone who can become an important part of the team, develop their skills and progress with the company as we grow. What youll be doing Your work will be varied and can include everything from domestic installations and social-housing contracts to commercial projects, fault finding, testing and larger electrical works. Day to day, youll:
- Carry out first- and second-fix electrical installations.
- Complete electrical work across domestic, commercial and social-housing properties.
- Diagnose and repair faults in electrical circuits and equipment.
- Carry out electrical inspection and testing, including EICRs where appropriately qualified.
- Take ownership of allocated jobs from arrival through to completion.
- Complete job sheets, reports and electrical certification accurately and on time.
- Read and work from plans, specifications and drawings.
- Work in accordance with the current edition of BS 7671, relevant guidance and company safety procedures.
- Work alongside and support apprentices where required.
- Communicate professionally with customers, clients, colleagues and other trades.
