We are looking for an experienced SAP FICO Consultant to join a high-performing team delivering transformation programmes across finance functions. You will play a key consulting role, working closely with business stakeholders to design and implement SAP FICO solutions, particularly within S/4HANA environments. This is a client-facing role requiring strong stakeholder engagement, deep functional expertise, and the ability to drive high-quality delivery across the full project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the functional lead for SAP FICO, providing consulting expertise to business stakeholders
- Lead business requirement gathering, analysis, and solution design across finance processes
- Work closely with technical (ABAP) teams for functional debugging, enhancements, and integrations
- Collaborate with stakeholders to communicate proposed solutions and secure buy-in
- Ensure end-to-end process alignment by working cross-functionally with SD, MM, HR and other modules
- Participate actively in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives
- Document business processes, configurations, and user guides to support ongoing operations
Required Skills & Experience
- Strong hands-on experience in SAP FICO configuration
- Proven track record delivering S/4HANA implementation and support projects
- In-depth understanding of Record to Report (RTR) processes
- Ability to perform functional debugging with knowledge of ABAP
- Experience working with integrated SAP modules such as SD, MM, and HR
- Strong analytical skills with excellent documentation capability
- Confident stakeholder management and communication skills
- Ability to influence business users and advocate SAP best practices
- Experience working within Agile environments (tools such as JIRA, Confluence)
