We are seeking an experienced SAP S/4HANA BRIM & FI‑CA Technical Architect to lead the end‑to‑end design and architecture of complex Billing and Revenue Innovation Management (BRIM) solutions. This role is ideal for a hands‑on architect who can translate complex business requirements into scalable, integrated SAP BRIM architectures across usage‑, subscription‑, and event‑based business models.
You will own solution design, integration strategy, and technical governance across SAP BRIM components, working closely with functional teams, ABAP developers, and business stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the end‑to‑end architecture and technical design of SAP BRIM solutions, including:
- SAP Convergent Charging (CC)
- SAP Convergent Invoicing (CI)
- SAP FI‑CA
- Subscription Order Management (SOM – good to have)
- Translate complex business scenarios (subscriptions, usage, bundles, entitlements) into robust BRIM architectures.
- Define target Order‑to‑Cash (O2C) architectures covering: Order Capture → Charging → Billing → Invoicing → Accounting
- Own architectural standards, design principles, and non‑functional requirements (performance, scalability, data consistency).
- Design and govern integrations between SAP BRIM and:
- S/4HANA core ERP
- Upstream order management systems
- External rating, mediation, and data sources
- Ensure data integrity and consistency across BRIM and Finance landscapes.
- Provide technical direction to ABAP teams for enhancements, exits, interfaces, and integrations.
- Oversee configuration and technical setup for:
- Rating, charging, and re‑rating models in CC
- Invoicing cycles and billable item processing in CI
- Contract and subscription lifecycle management in SOM
- Collections, payments, and dunning in FI‑CA
- Ensure solutions comply with:
- Revenue recognition requirements
- Audit and financial controls
- Industry‑specific regulatory constraints
- Provide architectural support during testing, defect resolution, and hypercare.
- Support cutover, go‑live readiness, and post‑production stabilisation.
- Strong hands‑on experience with SAP BRIM on SAP S/4HANA
- Deep technical expertise in:
- SAP Convergent Charging (CC)
- SAP Convergent Invoicing (CI)
- SAP FI‑CA configuration
- Strong understanding of end‑to‑end O2C processes
- Experience designing complex integrations in SAP landscapes
- Subscription Order Management (SOM)
- Experience in subscription‑based or usage‑based industries (e.g. utilities, telco, digital services)
Please note that this will be a fixed term contract for a minimum of 12 months.
