Wipro is seeking a skilled Site Reliability Engineer to join our dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities
- Automate provisioning, configuration, and scaling of cloud infrastructure using industry best practices.
- Build, maintain, and optimise IaC (Infrastructure as Code) using tools such as Terraform/Ansible.
- Improve CI/CD pipelines for reliable and faster deployments.
- Monitor and maintain the health, availability, and performance of GCP environments.
- Lead incident response and ensure quick root cause analysis and resolution.
- Implement SRE best practices including SLIs, SLOs, and error budgets.
- Partner with development, QA, and support teams to drive operational efficiency.
- Identify system bottlenecks and drive performance and resilience improvements.
- Build strong observability frameworks (logging, tracing, dashboards, alerts).
- Manage Kubernetes/GKE environments, networking, and cloud‑native services.
- Apply DevOps/SRE thinking to improve reliability, scalability, and security.
- Optimise cloud utilisation and drive cost-saving strategies across GCP workloads.
Required Skills & Experience
- Strong hands‑on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Expertise in CI/CD tools, Terraform, Kubernetes/GKE, and cloud monitoring tools.
- Experience in Linux administration, scripting (Python/Bash), and automation frameworks.
- Solid understanding of SRE principles, incident management, performance engineering, and scalability.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
Nice-to-Have
- Experience with service mesh (Istio/Envoy), security hardening, or FinOps practices.
- Exposure to microservices, API gateways, or distributed systems.
- Certifications in GCP or related cloud technologies.
Please note this is a fixed term contract for 1 year and possible extension.
