Overview
In this role, you shape the security architecture and enterprise strategy to protect critical systems and data. You will work with cross-functional teams to translate business goals into layered security designs and risk-aware solutions. You’ll address current and emerging threats, guide security deployments, and support governance and audits. This is a hands-on, leadership-oriented position that influences technology choices and roadmaps in the context of client-driven cyber risk management.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop enterprise cyber security strategy and architecture
- Assess vulnerabilities and risks by evaluating business strategies and security analyses
- Identify and communicate current and emerging threats and design mitigation measures
- Identify design gaps and recommend architectural improvements
- Provide product best-fit analysis covering security domains (layered security, API, data security, compliance)
- Contribute to security assessments against NIST, SANS, CIS frameworks
- Support deployment, configuration, integration, and administration of security technologies
- Apply ITIL-like processes (incident, change, configuration, problem management)
- Assist disaster recovery planning and response to security breaches
- Provide direction for portfolio of cyber risk security solutions and RFP responses
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of custom security solutions
- Define current vs. target state solutions and articulate investment roadmaps
- Evaluate integration with broader technology ecosystem and track industry trends
- Coordinate with stakeholders and assist in audits and risk register maintenance
- Deliver cybersecurity awareness training for teams and customers
- Provide training on phishing and email security
- Support sales with proposal quality and opportunity identification
