Job Description
Location: Wokingham, UK (hybrid 2/3 days a week in the office)
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable React.js code.
- Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.
- Mentor and guide junior developers, providing technical expertise and code reviews.
- Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders to define project requirements and scope.
- Develop and implement front‑end architecture to support user interface concepts.
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications and ensure high‑quality deliverables.
- Integrate front‑end components with server‑side logic.
- Collaborate with back‑end developers to integrate APIs and other services.
- Write unit and integration tests to ensure robustness and reliability.
- Troubleshoot and debug application issues in a timely manner.
What We’re Looking For
- Strong experience with React.js and its core principles, React Hooks, React Context, including popular React.js workflows (such as Redux).
- Familiarity with modern front‑end build pipelines and tools such as Webpack, Babel, and npm.
- Experience with RESTful APIs and asynchronous request handling.
- Knowledge of performance testing frameworks and optimization techniques.
- Experience with version control systems, specifically Git.
- Knowledge of Micro‑frontends architecture.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
