Overview
Join Wipro in London as a Desktop Support specialist, providing onsite and remote technical assistance to end users. You will troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues, resolving incidents within SLA and handling service requests like device setup and onboarding. You will install and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals, and manage asset records and lifecycle. You will collaborate with Service Desk, Network, and Application teams while ensuring security policies and compliance. This role offers hands-on impact in a digital transformation-focused company and a chance to contribute to reliable IT operations in a global team.
Responsibilities
- Incident and Request Management in-person and remote support
- Device installation, configuration and deployment; preventive maintenance
- Asset and inventory management including lifecycle tracking
- User support including account access and training
- Documentation updates and knowledge base creation
- Coordination with Service Desk, Infrastructure, Network, and Application teams; escalation to higher levels
- Compliance with security policies and audit support
