  • Payments schemes & rails – domestic (Faster Payments, BACS, CHAPS, etc.) and international (SWIFT, Cross‑border, SEPA, etc.)
  • Cards & merchant payments
  • Real‑time payments
  • Regulatory & compliance – PSD2/3, Open Banking, AML, etc.
  • Payments tech and platforms
  • Build and nurture senior client relationships, serving as a trusted advisor to CXOs on AI‑led transformation, operating model redesign, cost efficiencies, and critical business transformation programmes.
  • Lead large‑scale people and transformation programmes delivering measurable business impact.
  • Originate and convert consulting opportunities to drive profitable growth.
  • Deliver complex, multi‑shore engagements with commercial accountability.
  • Shape thought leadership and go‑to‑market propositions.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Outstanding leadership, communication, relationship‑building, and networking skills on the client side, with internal organization and ecosystem partners.
  • Proven ability to generate consulting business from new and existing accounts, with established networks across the UKI BFS market.
  • Self‑sufficient, proactive approach to business development, with strong personal utilization in a sell‑and‑deliver operating model.
  • Experience managing multi‑shore consulting projects with distributed teams, delivering sustainable customer value.
  • Deep expertise in AI‑powered Payments modernization, operating model transformation, enterprise payment AI architecture, payment hub transformation, core banking and payments integration, and build‑vs‑buy platform strategy.
  • Strong program and consulting disciplines – project/program management, storytelling, executive communications, commercial disciplines – ideally from top‑tier consulting firms (Big 4, Accenture, etc.).
  • Track record of nurturing, mentoring, and developing talent into future consulting leaders.
  • Thought leadership experience with public speaking, publication, and industry engagement in the BFS and Payments domain.
