As a Network Security Engineer, you'll be responsible for the day-to-day management of Network Security capabilities within the NSOC team. Your activities will include incident, change, and problem management, along with seeking opportunities to enhance the NSOC's capabilities and workflows.

Key Skills: Palo Alto, CISCO ASA or Firepower, Check Point, F5, Zscaler, Fortigate

Responsibilities:

  • Gather requirements, assess risks, and implement firewall changes to meet business demands.
  • Triage application and user connectivity issues, and implement configuration changes as needed.
  • Provide guidance in operating, maintaining, and improving Network Security capabilities.
  • Engage with stakeholders to ensure NSOC services meet requirements.
  • Cross-train team members for professional development.
  • Identify key trends and execute remediation plans for recurring incidents.
  • This position may require occasional off-hours support calls.

Skills & Experience:

  • Hands-on experience with security technologies like Palo Alto and Cisco ASA.
  • Experience with incident and change management in large enterprise environments.
  • Supporting, troubleshooting, and optimizing network security capabilities.
  • Understanding of networking protocols, cloud infrastructure, routing, firewalls, IDS/IPS, encryption, load balancing, and other network devices.
  • Certifications such as Cisco CCIE Security, Checkpoint CCSE/CCSM, Palo Alto PCNSE, F5 201/401, Zscaler ZDTA/ZTCA are a plus.

Experience: 3-5 Years.
