The Data Scientist supports the development and implementation of data-driven solutions to solve business challenges and enable informed decision-making. The role involves exploratory data analysis, predictive modelling, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver actionable insights.

This position focuses on applying statistical techniques and machine learning methodologies to improve business performance, with opportunities for continuous learning in a fast-paced environment.

  • Perform exploratory data analysis (EDA) to uncover trends, anomalies, and opportunities.
  • Develop and validate machine learning models (regression, classification, clustering, etc.).
  • Translate business requirements into data science use cases and analytical solutions.
  • Deliver actionable insights to drive optimisation, efficiency, and performance improvement.
  • Support decision-making through data-backed recommendations.

Experience in data science / advanced analytics environments:

  • Hands-on experience with machine learning techniques and statistical modelling.
  • Experience working with programming languages such as Python, R, SQL.
  • Exposure to cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) and big data ecosystems.
  • Experience in data visualisation tools (Power BI, Tableau).
  • Strong understanding of data modelling, machine learning frameworks, and statistical analysis.
  • Proficiency in Python libraries (Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn).
  • Experience working with structured and unstructured data.
  • Strong attention to detail and data-driven decision-making.
  • Experience in Azure and Databricks and ML model development & deployment.
  • Experience in Tableau or similar visualisation tools.
