Skillsets required:
- Proficient with IBM MQ on z/OS
- Knowledge of configuring and administering MQ on the z/OS platform
- Installation, patching, configuration and troubleshooting of IBM MQ on z/OS
- Experience with vendor engagement for problem/incident determination
- Use of SSL and management within the MQ environment
- Proficient in data transfer to and from host systems
- Configuring security, defining Queue Sharing Groups, gathering and analyzing statistics and accounting data for performance tuning
Responsibilities:
- Troubleshooting/Performance tuning of Message Queue applications
- Provide 24x7 on‑call support and support for out‑of‑hour changes as required
