Role
Infrastructure as Code (IaC) Developer – OpenShift Virtualization
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions for OpenShift Virtualization using tools like Terraform and Ansible.
- Automate the provisioning, configuration, and management of OpenShift clusters and virtualized workloads.
- Develop and maintain reusable IaC modules and playbooks for consistent and scalable deployments.
- Collaborate with DevOps, Cloud, and Infrastructure teams to integrate OpenShift Virtualization with CI/CD pipelines.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize virtualized workloads and infrastructure for performance and reliability.
- Ensure compliance with security and governance policies in all IaC implementations.
- Document processes, configurations, and best practices for IaC and OpenShift Virtualization.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Hands on experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, Ansible, etc.).
- Hands-on experience with OpenShift Virtualization and Kubernetes.
- Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python) for automation tasks.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and hybrid cloud environments.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab, ArgoCD, etc.).
- Strong understanding of networking, storage, and virtualization concepts.
- Experience with version control systems (Git) and collaborative development workflows.
- Knowledge of security best practices for containerized and virtualized environments.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
