Role: MFT Support Engineer/ Production Support
Location: London (hybrid)
Job Responsibilities:
- Administer MFT infrastructure, installation, upgrades, maintaining File Transmissions and related applications. onboarding/demising partners, monitoring health of application servers, performance tuning and troubleshooting including L2/L3 support.
- Experience with installation, configuration and administration of IBM Sterling File Gateway (Sterling Integrator), IBM Sterling Connect:Direct (Unix / Windows). Exposure to Sterling Secure Proxy, Sterling External Authentication Server etc.
- Work on crisis calls/ critical / complex incidents and ensure completion within agreed deadlines
- Analyse and fix vulnerabilities across products while collaborating with internal infrastructure teams and/or vendors.
- Knowledge of Service Management (Change, Incident and Problem) and Agile methodologies.
- Identify operational, audit, compliance risks / issues and contribute to mitigate the same
Mandatory Skills required:
- Experience of Managed File Transfer products (Connect:Direct, Sterling B2B integrator, Sterling File Gateway, etc)
- Hands on experience of transmissions protocols (sFTP, C:D, AS2, FTPS etc )
- Good understanding of the Secure plus protocols (TLS /SSL etc)
- Networking and security experience of cryptography applications and data security
- Hands on administration experience of Windows and Unix, operating systems
- Windows/Unix scripting experience and XML coding
- Unix/Windows Connect Direct support experience
Good to have:
- ITIL foundation and/or expert certification
- Project management / delivery background
- IT Transformation
