The Data Scientist supports the development and implementation of data-driven solutions to solve business challenges and enable informed decision-making. The role involves exploratory data analysis, predictive modelling, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver actionable insights.

Key Responsibilities- Perform exploratory data analysis (EDA) to uncover trends, anomalies, and opportunities
- Develop and validate machine learning models (regression, classification, clustering, etc.)
- Conduct feature engineering, hypothesis testing, and model evaluation
- Translate business requirements into data science use cases and analytical solutions
- Deliver actionable insights to drive optimisation, efficiency, and performance improvement
- Support decision-making through data-backed recommendations
- Experience in data science / advanced analytics environments
- Hands-on experience with machine learning techniques and statistical modelling
- Experience working with programming languages such as Python / R / SQL
- Exposure to cloud platforms (Azure / AWS / GCP) and big data ecosystems
- Experience in data visualisation tools (Power BI / Tableau)
- Strong understanding of data modelling, machine learning frameworks, and statistical analysis
- Proficiency in Python libraries (Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn)
- Good exposure to Azure and Databricks
- Experience working with structured and unstructured data sets
- Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset
