The Data Scientist supports the development and implementation of data-driven solutions to solve business challenges and enable informed decision-making. The role involves exploratory data analysis, predictive modelling, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver actionable insights.

This position focuses on applying statistical techniques and machine learning methodologies to improve business performance, with opportunities for continuous learning in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform exploratory data analysis (EDA) to uncover trends, anomalies, and opportunities
  • Develop and validate machine learning models (regression, classification, clustering, etc.)
  • Conduct feature engineering, hypothesis testing, and model evaluation
  • Translate business requirements into data science use cases and analytical solutions
  • Deliver actionable insights to drive optimisation, efficiency, and performance improvement
  • Support decision-making through data-backed recommendations
Experience & Qualifications
  • Experience in data science / advanced analytics environments
  • Hands-on experience with machine learning techniques and statistical modelling
  • Experience working with programming languages such as Python / R / SQL
  • Exposure to cloud platforms (Azure / AWS / GCP) and big data ecosystems
  • Experience in data visualisation tools (Power BI / Tableau)
Skills & Competencies
  • Strong understanding of data modelling, machine learning frameworks, and statistical analysis
  • Proficiency in Python libraries (Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn)
  • Good exposure to Azure and Databricks
  • Experience working with structured and unstructured data sets
