Your Responsibilities:
- Provide legal counsel, support, and training on complex legal and business questions with a strong focus on employment and compliance topics.
- Assisting the HR team with conflict resolution and mediation.
- Representing the company in employment court cases.
- Monitoring and identifying changes in employment laws as well as generally non-compliance issues, researching implications and suggesting available courses of action and resolution.
- Design and deliver training to employees and management.
- Interacting with business teams and advising on contracts with a focus on regulatory and governance topics.
- Enhance and expand legal and compliance processes, tools, and templates.
- Working closely with HR and management teams for consistent enforcement of policies.
Role Demands:
- Completed law degree with a focus on employment law in a European jurisdiction.
- Several years of professional experience in employment law, ideally in a legal firm or corporate legal department.
- Ability to anticipate and avert downstream legal risk.
- Exceptional analytical skills; IT industry specific expertise.
- Strong business and organizational skills as well as the ability to multi-task with HR, Finance and business teams.
- Should possess effective drafting and communication skills.
- Excellent written and spoken English language skills. Additional languages will be a plus.
- The ability to effectively work with internal clients/external customers is critical.
- The candidate should have excellent analytical and interpersonal skills with ability to motivate and supervise.
- High level of integrity, professionalism, and attention to detail.
