Your Responsibilities:

  • Provide legal counsel, support, and training on complex legal and business questions with a strong focus on employment and compliance topics.
  • Assisting the HR team with conflict resolution and mediation.
  • Representing the company in employment court cases.
  • Monitoring and identifying changes in employment laws as well as generally non-compliance issues, researching implications and suggesting available courses of action and resolution.
  • Design and deliver training to employees and management.
  • Interacting with business teams and advising on contracts with a focus on regulatory and governance topics.
  • Enhance and expand legal and compliance processes, tools, and templates.
  • Working closely with HR and management teams for consistent enforcement of policies.

Role Demands:

  • Completed law degree with a focus on employment law in a European jurisdiction.
  • Several years of professional experience in employment law, ideally in a legal firm or corporate legal department.
  • Ability to anticipate and avert downstream legal risk.
  • Exceptional analytical skills; IT industry specific expertise.
  • Strong business and organizational skills as well as the ability to multi-task with HR, Finance and business teams.
  • Should possess effective drafting and communication skills.
  • Excellent written and spoken English language skills. Additional languages will be a plus.
  • The ability to effectively work with internal clients/external customers is critical.
  • The candidate should have excellent analytical and interpersonal skills with ability to motivate and supervise.
  • High level of integrity, professionalism, and attention to detail.
