We are looking for a Consultant with strong hands-on experience in building and supporting Transaction Lifecycle Management reconciliations on TLM Premium 2.5 or higher version platform. The candidate is expected to have good knowledge of various types of reconciliation controls (Nostros, Depos, Inter Accounts, Intersystem, FOBO, FOCL) for the various Capital Markets asset classes, which will be required to understand business and build reconciliations for the same.
Candidate must have:
- Reconciliation build experience using TLM Premium 2.5 or higher.
- Strong Oracle database development skills.
- Hands-on experience with Unix Shell scripting commands.
- Production Support experience is good to have.
- Exposure to any reporting tool (BIRT, Crystal / SAP BO etc.).
- UNIX Solaris, Linux Shell scripting (bash/Vi Editors / PowerShell).
What you will do:
The candidate is expected to perform comprehensive requirement analysis, development, testing (UNIT / SIT / UAT) and implementation of the reconciliations on the Recs platform TLM Premium 2.5 or higher into the production environment. Expertise in Smart stream TLM tool with hands-on experience on TLM Premium 2.5 or higher version is required. Should have detailed hands-on experience with TLM tools such as SMART STUDIO, Smart Schema, Recon Admin, web Connect, Control & CT tools.
Expertise in Oracle (especially TLM tables knowledge) and good hands-on experience writing SQL stored procedures is necessary. Knowledge of TLM database table linkages for analysing production issues from the backend is essential. Expertise in exception management and breaks allocation automation on the TLM platform is also required. Candidates should be well versed with the most frequently used UNIX commands and the Vi Editor.
Responsibilities include:
- Developing stored procedures, triggers, and functions for reconciliations and end-user reports using Oracle database.
- Production Support on a rotational basis.
- Knowledge of Oracle Database Troubleshooting, using profiler, and database backup procedures.
- Troubleshooting Windows issues, understanding Unix logs, and Linux/Unix Solaris services knowledge, patching, server maintenance, application installation, building environments, security patching, and network maintenance.
- Exposure to Agile and DevOps culture.
- Very good communication skills to convey clear details to end users/clients for any challenges faced during build or testing.
- Knowledge of automated deployment tools will be an added advantage.

- Advanced knowledge working with TLM tools such as SMART STUDIO, Smart Schema, Recon Admin, web Connect, Control & CT tools.
- Solid SQL experience on Oracle Database and its performance optimisation.
- Understanding complex DB objects – stored procedures, database views, triggers, and database structure.
- Ability to write complex SQL queries – joins, updates, scripts for analysis etc.
- Experience in automating the continuous integration/continuous delivery pipeline within a DevOps Product/Service team driving a culture of continuous improvement.
- Re-engineering business processes and building strong relationships with business and operations.
- Good understanding of Capital Markets and Trade Lifecycle of various Asset classes, which assist in building better reconciliation controls on the TLM Premium reconciliations platform.
What additional skills will be good to have?
- Knowledge of cloud concepts and cloud architecture, different types of cloud computing (preferably GCP).
- Exposure to any Reporting/Analytics tool like BIRT, Crystal/SAP BO/Qliksense/Qlikview etc.
- Knowledge of DevOps principles & tools like GitHub/Jenkins, Jira, Confluence.
- Any programming language experience (Python, JAVA).
- Scripting knowledge in VB, Perl, PowerShell.
