Our Cloud Engineering team is looking for an experienced and passionate Cloud Engineer with strong hands-on development experience. As a Cloud Engineer, you'll be an active and leading member of a cloud-focused team of engineers β working on one of the Group's flagship projects to deliver a strategic platform on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
The role will have end-to-end accountabilities including:
- Shaping GCP and Cloud-technology roadmaps
- Finding opportunities & use-cases for new features and cloud-based products
- Collaboratively working with the business and other engineering teams to design then build and release
- Ensuring released services are resilient and optimised for cost and scalability
- Drive technical solution support to the team to align on continuous integration (CI) and continuous deployment (CD)
- Design and define the overall DevOps architecture/framework for project/module delivery as per the client requirement
- Create a tool deployment model for validating, testing and monitoring performance
- Define & manage the IT infrastructure as per the requirement of the supported software code
- Manage and drive the DevOps pipeline that supports the application life cycle across the DevOps toolchain
- Integrate security in the entire DevOps lifecycle to ensure no cyber risk and data privacy is maintained
- Provide customer support/service on the DevOps tools
- Troubleshoot various problems that arise in implementation of DevOps tools
- Perform root cause analysis of major incidents/critical issues
- Provide knowledge transfer, sharing best practices with the team
Team Management
- Forecast talent requirements as per the current and future business needs
- Hire adequate and right resources for the team
- Train direct reportees to make right recruitment and selection decisions
- Ensure 100% compliance to Wipro's standards of adequate onboarding and training for team members
- Set goals for direct reportees, conduct timely performance reviews and appraisals
- Lead and drive engagement initiatives for the team
