Responsibilities:
- Administration and Management of Wipro LAN & WAN across the globe as part of the Global Network Project Implementation Team based on assigned projects.
- Implementation and configuration of network devices including routers, switches, NMS tools, and Wi-Fi devices from various manufacturers (mainly Cisco, and in some cases Avaya/Brocade).
- Configure and implement network devices according to hardening guidelines and specific project requirements.
- Troubleshoot network and security related problems in a project based on the defined scope.
- Implement network infrastructure for new Offshore Development Centers (ODC) with appropriate security levels and redundancy.
- Implement network infrastructure for new enterprise projects with appropriate security levels and redundancy.
- Set up ODC connectivity ranging from MPLS, client-to-site VPN, and site-to-site VPN (router-based).
- Handle implementations for project moves within Wipro locations, establish point-to-point links, and design network infrastructure for new Wipro sites including LAN/WAN/Internet architecture.
- Coordinate with ISPs, clients, and onsite technical teams for P2P, MPLS, VPN, and other links for new implementations and resolve connectivity issues.
- Validate the technical feasibility of network design plans submitted by the design team and provide appropriate suggestions.
- Possess knowledge and exposure to NMS tools, routing protocols such as OSPF and BGP, MPLS configuration (VRF), switching protocols, STP, QoS, etc.
- Execute implementations in accordance with ISO 20000 & ISO 27001 standards and Wipro IRMC guidelines, following incident, change, and capacity management procedures.
- Lead and participate in service-level calls and outages until resolution.
Qualifications:
- CCNP-equivalent certification with approximately five years of experience.
- Ability to multitask and work on multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong understanding of routing and switching protocols, network security, and network design principles.
- Experience with MPLS, VPN configuration, and WAN/LAN architecture.
- Familiarity with ISO 20000, ISO 27001, and corporate change management processes.
