The SMP Business Analyst supports the delivery of the SMP business roadmap by analysing business needs, shaping requirements and enabling effective change across new and existing SMP market functionality. This role acts as a key interface between SMP leadership, business users, delivery teams and technical specialists, ensuring that changes are well understood, feasible and aligned with our market processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate workshops and alignment sessions using design thinking and customer‑led approaches
- Influence leaders and SMEs to drive shared understanding and alignment
- Translate conceptual needs into clear functional requirements
- Produce end‑to‑end process maps, customer journeys, data mappings and market‑facing documentation
- Maintain documentation to ensure consistent understanding across business, technical and delivery teams
- Prioritise requirements with delivery and support teams
- Promote digital‑first solutions
- Support end‑to‑end UAT and engage development, QA and data teams to resolve issues
Required Experience & Skills
- Considerable experience as a business analyst
- Experience working on large and complex projects within a large‑scale organisation
- Ability to capture requirements and define scope – Mandatory
- Strong gap analysis skills (identify inefficiencies or gaps/issues with existing processes) – Mandatory
- Excellent facilitation skills – planning and conducting workshops
