Responsibilities:
- Provide advanced level technical support for designing, maintaining, and optimizing global network security systems.
- Create and enforce global network security standards, guidelines, and procedures.
- Implement secure network architectures and solutions.
- Perform technology and operational risk assessments, identifying control gaps and risky or problematic configurations.
- Work with stakeholders to drive remediation of security issues.
- Promote security awareness and advise on secure operational practices across IT and the organization.
Experience/Skills Required:
- Must have proficiencies:
- Expert - securing & managing Palo Alto Firewalls & Prisma Access
- Expert - network security standards, methodologies, and best practices
- Expert - knowledge of network-based vulnerabilities, threats, and risks
- Understanding of networking protocols and services
- Advanced knowledge of network access control (NAC) solutions and methodologies
- Hands-on experience in network security operations and design
- Nice to have proficiencies:
- Forescout network access control
- Web Application Firewall (F5 and/or Cloudflare)
- Secure routing & switching
- Scripting, automation & orchestration
- Threat Hunting
- Cisco ISE / RADIUS authentication
- Data center segmentation technologies
- Network authentication methodologies (PSK, certificates, SAML, etc.)
Competencies:
- Must have a security mindset, well versed in general security principles and best practices.
- Ability to communicate in English clearly and effectively, both orally and in writing.
- Professional security certifications are a plus. (CISSP, GIAC, CEH, etc.)
- Ability to work within a team and with limited direction and guidance.
- Strong analytical, organizational, troubleshooting and time management skills.
- Effective troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
