Job Description:
Role summary: A hybrid product and program role accountable for both product definition and
delivery execution. The role owns what gets built and ensures it ships to a high standard of quality
and craft.
Scope of the role
• Product definition. Owns product requirements, functional specifications, and the roadmap,
determining feature behavior and prioritisation, not solely delivery timelines.
• Experience ownership. Partners with design and engineering on user flows, interface behavior,
and interaction detail, maintaining a high bar for usability, consistency, and design fidelity.
• Technical delivery. Sequences work across dependent teams, manages critical path and
integration risk, and documents trade-off decisions explicitly and in advance.
• Stakeholder alignment. Maintains a single authoritative view of scope, status, and intent across
engineering, design, leadership, and downstream consumers.
• Scope and schedule governance. Manages change control, guards against unmanaged scope
expansion, and ensures estimates are grounded in evidence rather than assumption.
Requirements
• Demonstrated experience owning both product specifications and delivery schedules for
shipped software.
• Working technical fluency across modern software architecture: APIs, service integrations, data
models, and CI/CD release processes.
• Familiarity with AI/ML-enabled product capabilities and their operational implications, model
behavior, evaluation, latency, and cost.
• Proficiency with project and documentation tooling, and comfort querying data to support
reporting and analysis.
• Evidence-based approach to quality standards, with strong written communication and cross-
functional influencing skills.
• 6+ years in software program or product management.
