Our busy Engineering firm based on Aldridge Industrial Estate are urgently looking for an experienced part time Bookkeeper to join our small office team. This is a permanent role.
Responsibilities
- Booking in deliveries and posting Supplier Invoices
- Sending customer invoices and posting payments
- Payables and receivables ledger management
- Credit Control
- Bank Reconciliation
- Sending remittances and statements
- Liaising with external Accountants for year end prep
- HMRC compliance
- Occasional ad hoc duties such as answering phones
Person Specification
- Must have strong experience with Sage 50 Accounts
- Proficient in Microsoft Outlook and Excel
- Invoice Finance experience is a plus
- Manufacturing industry experience is a plus
- AAT qualification desired but not essential
- Be immediately available
Hours available are flexible and circa 20 hours a week to be worked over 3 days, Monday, Tuesday and Thursday preferably. Opening hours are 8.30am to 15.30pm. Salary is £14.50+ per hour dependent on experience and qualifications.
