Your Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and manage scalable cloud infrastructure to support various business divisions.
- Collaborate with researchers and other stakeholders to understand their requirements and deliver tailored solutions, with a keen eye on cost efficiency.
- Ensure the security, reliability, and performance of cloud-based systems.
- Automate deployment, monitoring, and maintenance processes to enhance operational efficiency.
- Stay up to date with the latest cloud technologies and best practices.
What We Are Looking For:
- 5+ years of experience in a similar role, with hands-on experience in AWS and Kubernetes.
- Strong belief in the ‘Infrastructure as code’ mind-set and a solid understanding of Terraform.
- Experience with CNCF technologies such as Argo CD, Kyverno and Prometheus.
- Proficient with Grafana to monitor and alert on critical systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
What Would Be Useful:
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect, CNCF certificate(s) or similar.
- Knowledge of the Go Programming and understanding of Kubernetes operators.
- Experience of automation through GitHub Actions or similar.
