Winterberry Gardens is seeking a person responsible for troubleshooting and repairing company vehicles and equipment. The role is ideal for an entry-level technician (lube tech) focused on performing basic maintenance such as oil changes, routine servicing, and general vehicle upkeep.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3+ years of experience
  • Safety compliance; work with safety in mind and wear necessary personal protective equipment
  • Team player
  • Good mechanical comprehension

Job Responsibilities

  • Perform basic maintenance tasks such as oil changes, fluid checks, and routine servicing of vehicles and equipment
  • Replace or assemble parts as assigned by work order or lead shop technician
  • Work from service manuals, maintenance manuals, and construction equipment schematics
  • Perform tasks with minimum supervision using experience and good judgment
  • Operate all construction/maintenance equipment safely for its intended purpose
  • Effectively communicate verbally with technical staff and other employees on machine problems or suggested improvements
  • Possess a basic understanding of construction equipment systems and repair techniques
  • Work effectively in a team environment and easily perform the role of team member
  • Perform work utilizing safe practices and wear all necessary personal protective equipment

Compensation & Schedule

  • $22 – $27 per hour (depending on experience)
  • 50+ hours per week
  • This is a full-time, benefitted position that includes:
