About the Role

We are looking for compassionate and dedicated Female Support Workers to join our team in a sleep-in only role. This is a hands-on position supporting individuals with all aspects of daily living, both at home and in the community.

This role consists of:

  • Active evening support: 8:00pm – 11:00pm paid at £14.00 per hour
  • Sleep-in shift: 11:00pm – 7:00am paid at a fixed rate of £45.00 per shift

You will play a key role in supporting individuals to live independently, safely, and with dignity while achieving their personal goals. Please note: This role involves providing personal care. Where appropriate, this may be considered a genuine occupational requirement in line with the Equality Act 2010.

Key Responsibilities

  • Follow individual support plans and risk assessments
  • Support individuals with evening routines and daily living tasks
  • Assist with personal care where required (washing, bathing, toileting)
  • Administer medication in line with training and policies
  • Promote a calm, safe, and supportive environment overnight
  • Respond appropriately to any overnight support needs or emergencies
  • Encourage independence, choice, and skill development
  • Maintain accurate records and report incidents or concerns
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues and attend handovers and meetings
  • Promote safeguarding and wellbeing at all times

Requirements

  • A full UK manual driving licence (essential)
  • Willingness to drive a mobility vehicle
  • Understanding of Positive Behaviour Support (PBS)
  • A proactive, caring, and reliable approach
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Flexibility to work shifts, including sleep-ins and alternate weekends
