Multi-strategy hedge fund in Central London seeks a Senior Wintel Engineer / Windows Infrastructure Engineer, to join an expanding team and work on advanced infrastructure challenges. This is a hands-on engineering role within a highly technical and collaborative environment, where you’ll help shape and support the systems for global trading and research.

Role

• Design, build, and integrate core infrastructure systems across Windows platforms.
• Support and enhance the firm’s operating systems, authentication, virtualization, messaging, and network.
• Develop automation tools and infrastructure software to drive reliability, scalability, and performance.
• Diagnose and resolve complex, high-impact infrastructure and performance issues.
• Collaborate with world-class technologists across teams to deliver secure, scalable, and efficient infrastructure solutions.

Required Experience

• Deep technical expertise across Microsoft infrastructure technologies
• Strong scripting and automation skills using PowerShell.
• Passionate about performance, reliability, and clean engineering design.
• A proactive problem solver with excellent troubleshooting skills and high attention to detail.
• Exceptional communication and collaboration abilities.
• Degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
