What We're Looking For
Around 3–7 years of professional engineering experience within Data Engineering, Analytics Engineering or Software Engineering with a strong data focus.
You will have experience in hedge funds, Prop Trading, or investment banking working with large financial data sets.
You'll need strong Python and SQL, good software-engineering fundamentals and experience building reliable production data pipelines.
You'll be proficient in concepts such as schema design, incremental loading, idempotency and schema evolution, and you'll be comfortable working within structured engineering practices using Git, branching, pull requests and code reviews.
You'll have experience with LLMs, AI-assisted development or AI-enabled data pipelines.
Knowledge of Databricks, Delta Lake, Lakehouse/Medallion architectures, Airflow, CI/CD or Terraform would all be valuable
Passionate about engineering and building products. Engineering-first mindset
This position suits someone looking for their second or third role and seeking more ownership and responsibility.
