Job Responsibilities
Hotel Guest Relations/Reception
Experience in the hotel or tourism industry is required.
Winstanley House is based within a Grade II listed Georgian Manor, restored to a 5* standard, offering hotel bedrooms, suites, a restaurant, conference and banqueting rooms catering for weddings and events throughout the year.
Our focus is on looking after our guests on their journey with our Hotel and Brand. Duties involve answering and transferring calls, creating reservations for our hotel bedrooms and restaurant, welcoming all arrivals to the hotel and ensuring their time with us meets the highest standards that are expected in a luxury venue.
You will also be working alongside our Events team, ensuring that every bride and groom, Conference organiser and delegate, festive party attendee and all other kinds of guests have the perfect time whilst with us.
Duties
Smart and articulate you would be the kind of person that goes out of their way to make all guests feel like they are royalty.
You need to have strong administration skills, excellent written skills for responding to email, an outgoing and friendly personality, as well as a great telephone manner.
Problem solving forms a great part of the Guest Relations role. As we are the hub of the hotel, you will need to be adaptable and ready to turn your hand to anything. If we can fix an issue instantly, we will.
This is definitely not a 9-5 job so you will be expected to work early mornings and late in the evenings (10pm)
