We pride ourselves on our strong sense of community, high achievement and dedication to helping every student reach their full potential.**The Role**We are seeking reliable and professional Exam Invigilators to support the smooth running of internal and external examinations. This role is essential in ensuring exams are conducted in accordance with awarding body regulations.Work is offered on a casual basis during exam periods, including morning and afternoons. Successful applicants have the ability to work as much or as little as they wish from the available hours offered.This role is well suited to retirees, students, or those seeking flexible work**Key Responsibilities**• To distribute question papers and associated examination materials, as directed• To maintain a register of attendance in examinations, provide a seating plan and details of candidate absence, as directed• To collect examination scripts as directed and to collate these against official attendance registers• To oversee the commencement and completion of examinations• To report any irregularities or incidents during exams• To participate in relevant staff development and training activities• To work as part of a team and to ensure effective working relations• To undertake all the above duties in accordance with the College’s procedures in order to satisfy regulations of the Awarding Bodies.**About You – Essential Skills & Attributes**• Reliability and excellent punctuality• Strong attention to detail• Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure• Clear communication skills• Ability to follow Joint Council for Qualifications (JCQ) and centre procedures accurately• Confidentiality and integrity• Ability to work independently and as part of a team• Confident in managing exam conditions and addressing issues appropriately**What We Offer**• A supportive and collaborative team environment• Annual training opportunities• Free parking / easy access to local public transport• On-site Costa & Starbucks**How to Apply**In less than 300 words, please briefly explain why you are interested in becoming an Exam Invigilator and how your skills match this role.
