Winstanley College is seeking an organized HR advisor with a professional positive attitude and a sharp eye for detail to join our dedicated College HR team. As our HR Advisor, you will be the College’s go-to expert for contract variations, family leave, flexible working, and other key HR matters. You will lead our approach to absence management using data to identify trends, managing Occupational Health referrals, and creating supportive return-to-work plans that get our valued staff back doing what they do best.

You will work closely with the Principal, Senior Leadership Team (SLT), and HR Manager to facilitate smooth operations and support employee relationships.

Key Purpose of the Role

The HR Advisor provides comprehensive HR and administrative support to the HR department in College. The role is responsible for employee lifecycle administration including providing HR guidance, being the first point of contact for absence management, facilitating return to work, coordinating cover, supporting onboarding appraisals, and assisting in compliance monitoring and other reasonable, appropriate and necessary tasks to meet the strategic and operational needs of the College.
