We are currently recruiting for an Experienced (or Newly/Soon to be Qualified) HGV Driver for multi-drop deliveries of heating oil and diesels throughout North Devon. The role will be based at Barnstaple, EX31 3JQ.
Candidates must hold:
- HGV licence
- ADR licence (Newly passed/soon to take are welcome)
- Driver CPC
- Digital Tachograph Card
- Clean Driving Licence
Typical Working day: Monday to Friday, 8am until 5pm with 15 to 20 fuel deliveries per day. Some Saturdays may be worked as overtime when needed.
Holidays: 20 Days, plus bank Holidays, increasing to 25 Days plus Bank Holidays after 2 years of service.
Salary: £34,000 rising to £37,000 based on experience.
You will be required to have excellent customer service skills and strong written and arithmetical skills. A good knowledge of the area is required. Basic IT knowledge would also be an advantage, i.e. Sat Nav and Mobile Phones, software such as WhatsApp and Checkedsafe.
