About the Role

We are looking for a reliable and organised trainee white goods engineer to join our team as Assistant to our Head Engineer.

You will be based at our busy white goods rework centre in Winsford, where we repair and restore cookers, washing machines and much more.

Working with the engineering team, you will help ensure spare parts and appliance stock are processed efficiently and accurately β€” playing a key role in keeping operations running smoothly.

This role is an entry position and training will be given leading over time to you becoming a fully trained white good engineer.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ordering spare parts from suppliers via email / Web.
  • Checking in and organising incoming spare parts deliveries
  • Quality checking stock and ensuring accuracy of records
  • Photographing stock and uploading images where required
  • Assisting with general workshop duties, including moving stock.
  • Maintaining organised records and documentation
  • Supporting the wider team with day-to-day operational tasks
  • Moving stock such as washing machines stock in and out of the workshop.

Skills & Experience Required

  • Good organisational skills and strong attention to detail
  • Confident using email and basic computer systems
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Reliable and punctual with a positive, can-do attitude
  • Enjoy problem solving and taking initiative
