Night Shift Electrically Biased Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer
4 on / 4 off rotation

We are looking to recruit two Electrically Biased Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineers to join a high-volume, fast-paced manufacturing environment on a permanent night shift. This is a great opportunity for engineers who enjoy problem solving, working with modern equipment, and playing a key role in keeping production running at peak efficiency.
The Role
You will be responsible for maintaining and improving production equipment, with a strong focus on electrical fault finding, diagnostics, and reliability improvements.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out electrical and mechanical maintenance across production equipment
- Lead electrical fault finding to minimise downtime
- Respond rapidly to breakdowns and restore operations efficiently
- Complete planned preventative maintenance (PPM) schedules
- Support daily production start-ups
- Assist with installation and commissioning of new equipment
- Maintain high standards of safety, hygiene, and housekeeping
- Work collaboratively with production and engineering teams
- Drive continuous improvement and reduce equipment failures
About You
- Electrically biased with strong fault-finding skills
- NVQ Level 3 / HNC (or equivalent) in engineering
- Experience in fast-paced manufacturing (FMCG or food preferred)
- Good mechanical understanding
- Proactive, reliable, and able to work nights independently
- Strong awareness of health & safety
