The Role: Based at one of INX customer locations, this is primarily a laboratory role involving colour matching, meeting with customers and working as part of the Colour Matching Team whilst reporting to the Colour Manager - Europe. The Colour Matcher involves completing scheduled work according to customer requirements, designated by the Colour Manager. The role also requires colour matching, formulating, working safely and maintaining good housekeeping. There is also work with IT systems including IMS (Ink Management System) and potentially internal / online systems.

  • Providing on-site colour matching to customer's requirements (including colour matching to colour digital data)
  • Providing on-site support for proofing according to customer's requirements with flexibility regarding working hours when customer's is on-site.
  • Maintaining relevant computer files with correct information
  • Following set standards for presenting completed work to the customers
  • Following 7S procedures and relevant SOPs
  • Following the direction of the Colour Manager, but also working independently to customer requirements
  • Involvement in different projects - when required
  • Providing required training to team members - when required
  • Assessing studio location in terms of equipment, supplies and other necessary materials (maintaining, ordering and retrieving necessary equipment/ equipment parts, supplies, etc.)
  • Hygiene and Health & Safety standards, ensuring all lab colour matching areas meet high standards of excellence.
  • Adhering to all customer rules, especially Health and Safety and Security requirements.
  • Represent INX in a professional manner, in terms of work approach, dress and conduct with team and customer
  • Communication with clients
  • Actively ensuring that you and the team are aware of all internal/external communications (emails, technical information, notifications, etc.)
  • To actively participate in the review and improvement of the EHS management system. Including evaluating the effectiveness of the system, by site visit, inspection, audit and review.
  • Addressing non-conformities, making necessary adjustments to systems to ensure ongoing compliance.
  • Take an active part in any incident that has resulted, or had the potential to cause, a lost time accident.

The Candidate: Previous experience of colour matching is highly desired. Alternatively, experience working within ink manufacturing industry is desirable. Must be able to speak and write English fluently. Basic qualification in Maths and English is required. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite of programs. Strong knowledge of 7S and able to work cleanly. Ability to identify/quantify colours.

Benefits: Company bonus of up to 7.5% and 10% for Managers. Pension contribution of up to 7%. 33 days holiday (25 days plus 8).
