I am currently recruiting for an established Food Manufacturing client based in Trafford Park.
The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting general maintenance and repairs on equipment and property.

- Previous experience as a Maintenance Technician or similar.
- Experience working within a fast-paced food manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of general maintenance practices
- Experience with Planned and Preventative maintenance.
- Knowledge of health and safety practices
- Role
- Ensure operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements
- Repair faulty equipment units and damaged structures.
- Develop and implement preventative maintenance procedures.
- Plan and Schedule repairs on site.
- Liaise with external contractors to complete additional requirements on site.
- Maintain the inventory records for equipment and supplies.
- Communicate with production regarding downtime.
- Complete the required documentation.
- Member of the HACCP team
- Maintain clean and safe working environment for yourself and other employees.
- Work within a team and on his own.
- Adhere to Personal hygiene rules outlined by company.
- Follow operating procedures relevant for tasks carried out.
- Follow Health and Safety requirements all the time.
- Utilizes continuous improvement techniques and assists in identifying opportunities to improve processes.
- Carry out any other reasonable task as directed by supervisor/manager.
