Winsearch UK is proud to partner with a growing contractor specialising in roofing, cladding, and full building envelope solutions across the industrial and commercial sectors. Based out of their Oldham office, this is an opportunity to join a business that has built a solid reputation for delivering high-quality roofing and cladding packages nationwide, covering both new build and refurbishment works.
This is an office-based Estimator role with some site involvement where required, supporting the commercial team in pricing and securing projects. You'll be involved across the full tender lifecycle, working on a mix of roofing and cladding schemes, and playing a key role in helping the business win work.
Day to day, you’ll be:
- Reviewing drawings, specifications, and tender documentation
- Carrying out material take-offs and pricing exercises
- Building up detailed and accurate cost estimates
- Liaising with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain quotations
- Identifying risks, opportunities, and value engineering options
- Supporting project teams at handover stage once work is secured
- Occasionally visiting sites to better understand project scope and delivery
