We are seeking an experienced Paint / Coatings Sprayer to join our growing team in Atherton. Working within a heavy engineering environment, you will be responsible for the preparation, application and finishing of protective coating systems on a variety of fabricated and engineered components. Key Responsibilities
- Prepare surfaces for painting and coating applications.
- Apply industrial paint systems using spray equipment.
- Mix and apply two-pack (2K) paint systems in accordance with specifications.
- Apply protective coatings to engineered and fabricated steelwork.
- Inspect completed work to ensure quality standards are achieved.
- Maintain spray equipment and work areas to a high standard.
- Follow health, safety and environmental procedures at all times.
- Work effectively to production schedules and project deadlines.
Essential Requirements
- Proven experience in industrial paint spraying.
- Experience working with two-pack (2K) paint systems.
- Strong knowledge of paint spraying and coating application techniques.
- Ability to interpret job specifications and follow coating procedures.
- Commitment to quality workmanship and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Requirements
- Experience applying coatings to structural steelwork.
- ICATS qualification.
- Experience within heavy engineering, manufacturing, fabrication or industrial environments.
